Logbook Services

We often hear the terms logbook service, minor service or major service. But what does this really mean? Logbook servicing is a pre-set service schedule set by the manufacturer found in your vehicle’s logbook.

The manufacturer’s schedule will include minor and major servicing at set intervals. Minor services require less time and parts than major services for specific maintenance schedules.

You can fix small issues and avoid bigger problems in the future by following the maintenance schedule in your logbook. Additionally, this will help you keep your warranty intact.

Our mechanics inspect your vehicle during servicing and provide recommendations and reports on any future attention needed. This ensures the maintenance done on your vehicle is tailor-made to what you need.

  3. Resale value
How often should my vehicle be serviced?

Service your vehicle according to the maintenance schedule in the logbook or every 6 months or 10,000km.

If you are between services and heading on a holiday, it is always a good idea to have your vehicle inspected as a lot can happen in between car services. This can help catch any potential issues early on and prevent them from becoming more serious problems down the line.

Will I lose my new car warranty if I don’t take my car back to the Dealership?

No, any qualified Mechanic can carry out servicing or repairs on your vehicle without voiding warranty. However, you will need to take your vehicle back to a Dealership for any warranty items or recalls.

How much does a service cost?

This really depends on the vehicle and what is required during the service. Please give us a call on 3359 4411 if you would like an accurate quote for your next service.
